Admissions Process

VISIT THE SCHOOL
We would love to show you Spring Knolls! Come by for an open house, or reach out to the school office to schedule a one-on-one tour. You can also take a look through our website, and enjoy a virtual tour of our school. Contact us to begin the conversation!​

To apply for admission at Spring Knolls, please download the application and either mail it to the school along with the $65 application fee, or email the application to springknolls4@gmail.com and submit the fee via the PayPal link.

REVIEW PROCESS AND TIMELINE
Applications for the 2024-25 school year will be due on Feb. 15. Offer letters will be sent out the following week. After that, applications will be received and reviewed on a rolling basis and admitted as space allows. If a class is full, your application can be added to a waitlist.

ADMISSION
Upon notification of admission, a deposit equal to one month's tuition will be required in order to hold your child's spot. This deposit is nonrefundable and will be applied to the final month's tuition installment due June 2025. Additional registration forms will be sent in the spring. Over the summer, you will be connected to the school's communication app, Bloomz. We use Bloomz for school-wide and class-specific communications.

​​Selection Criteria
The Spring Knolls admissions policy (as stated in the Parent Handbook, the school’s guiding policy document) is as follows:

"Maintaining a diverse student population, reasonable age and gender balance, and adequate proportion of co-oping parents at each class level are primary goals of Spring Knolls, as is a commitment to the children of Spring Knolls parents, alumni, and staff. Spring Knolls therefore gives priority to applicants whose admission would further one or more of these goals. Because there may be more applicants than available spaces in particular classes, it may not be possible to admit all priority applicants in a given year."
